India is a land of beautiful places. There are numerous places to travel and a lot of corners to explore. You are the top 10 travel destinations in India.

Goa

Goa is a popular tourist destination surrounded by beaches and beautiful landscapes. Calangute beach is the largest beach in North Goa embarked by a number of water sports at the beach. Goa offers various water sports like kneeboarding, kitesurfing, snorkeling, parasailing, paragliding, and many more. Cruise in Goa is a popular attraction to explore exotic scenery, marvelous waters, and breathtaking views of the sunset. Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort standing on the sinquerim beach has a 4 story lighthouse. Goa offers wonderful food as Goan fish curry, Shark Ambot tik, chicken xacuti, Goan pork vindaloo, chicken cafreal. Goa has religious destinations like the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Shri Saptakoteshwar temple Monte Hill, Maruti temple.

Alleppey, Kerala

Popularly known as the Venice of the East, Alleppey is located on the Malabar coast and is one of the most gorgeous locations in the world. It has the best houseboat experience of sailing through a maze of interconnected lagoons, canals and lakes in Alleppey backwaters. Alleppey is famous for its ayurvedic massages. Bodoland organizes one of the biggest annual fests in the country called Dwijing Festival on the banks of the Air River. Bodoland shares its border with Bhutan. You can also go on a one day trip to Bhutan from Gelephu.
