Easy Homemade Pancake Recipe

Besan ka chilla:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1/2 tsp ajwain
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • half chopped onion
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tsp oil or ghee

How to make it:

  1. In a mixing bowl take besan an add ajwain, salt, turmeric, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, green chilli, grated ginger, chopped coriander.
  2. Mix it well with the help of water  and make a smooth batter without any lumps.
  3. Heat a pan and grease oil and allow it to turn heat in low to medium flame.
  4. Mix the batter well again and with the help of ladle pour the batter in pan, and spread it to a round cheela.
  5. Drizzle some oil around the eadges and the center and turn it to the other side.
  6. Press the edges and cook well.
  7. Serve it with ketchup or chutney.

Whole Wheat Pancake:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cinnamon powder
  • 1.5 cup milk
  • unsalted butter
  • oil

How to make it:

  • In a mixing bowl take 1 cup of whole wheat add salt, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon powder.
  • Take 1.5 cup milk in a pan and heat it  (Do not boil) add  unsalted butter mix it well.
  • Then add this mixture to the dry ingredients in the bowl.
  • Mix it well till it become smooth.
  • Heat the pan and grease oil.
  • With the help of ladle gently pour the batter.
  • Cook it in medium flame till you see the bubbles.
  • Gently turnover the pancake.
  • Cook the second side also till golden.
  • Take it out and serve it with jelly.

Flourless Pancake:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Sweetner as per your choice
  • Cinnamon (optional)

How to make it:

  • Take all ingredients and blend it.
  • Take a pan and grease it.
  • Cook it on a low flame both side.
  • Serve it with chocolate syrup or fruit jell

Rava Pancake:

Ingredients   

  • 1 cup Rava
  • half chopped onion
  • half chopped tomatoes
  • half chopped capsicum
  • half chopped carrot
  • 1 chopped green chili
  • salt as per taste
  • water
  • oil

How to make it:

  • Take a mixing bowl add 1 cup rava, chopped onion, tomatoes, capsicum, greem chili and salt.
  • With the help of water mix it well and make a batter (nor thick nor to thin)
  • Take a pan and grease it with oil.
  • With the help of ladle pour the batter into the pan  and cook on medium to low flame both side.
  • Take it out and serve it with chutney.
