If you ever come to Ranchi and do not try the street food here, then you are missing a lot. Jharkhand shares its borders with five other Indian states and these places have a great influence on the dishes eaten here.

Jharkhand has a variety of street foods, each of a different type. These foods are mainly consumed by teenagers and youngsters while adults are no less. They have a crunchy texture and savoury flavour; some are sweet while some just melt in your mouth.

Now let’s take a look at some of the most popular and well-liked street foods in Ranchi that showcase the best of what the city has to offer.

NEPALI MOMO CORNER

This is also known as the NEPAL HOUSE. It’s a Nepali street selling their cuisines which they brought along with them. You can get a taste of Nepal here. The street is filled with a string of small thelas and food trucks owned by small business owners.

Their various stalls are lined up one after the other, each selling delectable and hygienic foods. Momos with spicy red sauce, chicken lollipops adorned with chopped onions and lemon slices, and a variety of soups are among the options. You should also try their Thukpa, which is basically a hot noodle soup.  The pricing is reasonable.
